How do you size the battery?
From your essential loads (kW), how long you want backup (hours), usable battery capacity, inverter limits and system losses. Monthly bills alone cannot size a battery.
Can I add a battery to my existing solar system?
Often yes, but it depends on your inverter and system type. Choose ‘Battery upgrade’ in the calculator and an engineer will confirm compatibility.
